This contest held on the 7th june 1996 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Nevada saw De La Hoya stop Mexican Legend Chavez in 2.37 of round 4 with a TKO referee in charge was Joe Cortez.

Karl Taylor

Karl Taylor from Birmingham has hanged up his gloves after 165 contests his last being at Meadowside Leisure Centre against Luke Gallear which he lost on points over six two minute rounds with referee John Keane scoring it 56-59.Karl won 16 lost 142 drawn 7 in his long career which began in 1987. All the best for the future ; here is one of Karl,s fights.

The Big Brawl,Wembley Arena London 23rd July 2011

First contest of the evening saw Lee Markham make his Pro-Debut against Matt Scriven in a 4 rounder with Markham win with a 40-36 points victory.

Next up was a 6 round contest between Bobby George and Tamao Dwyer with George winning with a stoppage in 1-47 of round 4. 

Contest number 3 saw Phil Gill up against Mo Khaled in a6 round contest ending in a draw 57-57. 

Next up saw Phill Fury and Peter Vaughan in a rip roarer over 8 rounds with Vaughan win with a points victory 78-75. 

Contest number 5 saw Kid Galahad against Pavels Senkovs in a 6 round contest with Galahad getting the nod with a 60-54 points victory. 

Contest number 6 was for the Southern Area Light Middle-Weight Title which saw Champion Ryan Toms winning against Challenger Pat McAleese in 2-44 of round 4.

Next up saw Jason Cook Challenge Ashley theophane for the British Light Welterweight Title over 12 rounds with theophane winning in round 10.

Contest number 8 saw Chris Evangelou from London against Jon baguley over 4 rounds with Evangelou winning on points 39-37.
Last contest of the evening saw Tyson Fury challenge Derek Chisora for the British and Commonweath Heavyweight Title over 12 rounds with Fury winning with a points victory 117-112 117-112 and 118-111.

This poster has been signed by Matthew Edmonds,Rob Turley,Lee Selby,Daniel Roberts,Eisa Al Dah,Jamie Way and Ali Wyatt.The main event was a International Masters Light Welterweight Championship Contest over ten three minute rounds which saw Jamie Way win a points victory over Ali Wyatt with referee Wynford Jones scoring it 100-91.

The first bout of the evening was a welterweight contest over four threes, between Liam Griffiths and Johnny Greaves, with Griffiths taking a 39-38 points victory.

Next up was a light-heavyweight contest between Joel McIntyre and Billy Boyle, with a 40-46 points victory.

The evening's third fight saw lightweights Floyd Moore and Dan Carr square off over four threes, resulting in a 38-38 draw.

Next up was a middleweight contest between Alex Gibbens and Simone Lucas fought over four threes, with the win going to Gibbens 40-36.

The fifth fight of the night was a light-middleweight contest between Mark Coombs and Billy Smith, with Coombs taking a 40-37 points victory.

The next contest was super-bantamweight contest over four threes, with Jon Fry putting Ashley Lane away in the 56 seconds of round three.

The final contest of the evening was a light-middleweight bout over six threes between Wayne Goddard and Kevin McCauley, with Goddard taking a 58-56 points victory.

This contest held in Kingston Jamiaca on January 22nd 1973 was Joe's first defeat losing his WBC and WBA titles.  Although Joe was to take six counts in 2 rounds it just proves what a true warrior he was.  R.I.P Joe thanks for the memories.

Championship Boxing, Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon, 30th September, 2011

Promoter: Keith Mayo

The first fight of the evening was a super-middleweight contest between Steve Marvin Mullins and Bobby Wood, fought over four threes, with Mullins taking a 40-36 points victory.

The second contest of the evening saw light-middleweights Lee Churcher and Chris Brophy with Churcher taking the win 58 points to 57.

Next up was a light-welterweight match between Danny Carter and Billy Smith, this being Smith's 116th professional fight and Carter's Debut. Carter took a 58-55 points win over the veteran.

The fourth bout was a welterweight contest between Chris Higgs and Donny Dontchev with Higgs taking 60-55 points victory.

Next up was a middleweight contest over six threes between Nick Blackwell and Mihai Macovei, with Blackwell victorious after ref Clark Joslyn stopped the fight in round five.

The evening's final contest saw Kelvin Young take on Tony Randal for the International Masters Middleweight Championship over ten three minute rounds. Young took the title with a 97 -  95 points victory.
