Royal Air Force Finals of the Lord Wakefield Boxing Competition 1964
This was held at Royal Air Force Cosford on Wednesday 11th November 1964 there were twenty bouts in all.The Lord Wakefield Competition was introduced in 1918 when the late Colonel Sir Charles Wakefield presented the trophies to the Royal Air Force Boxing Association, with the object of promoting team spirit and of encouraging all ranks in the service to take an interest in the sport.

The first fight of the evening saw Gareth Heard against Vladimiras Kalinovskij over four-threes with Heard winning in round 3 when referee Jeff Hinds stopped contest.
Next up was a contest between Liam Richards and Jevgenijs Kirillovs in a light-welterweight matchup over four threes, with Kirillovs taking a 40-37 points victory.
The third contest of the evening saw Aaron Fox square off against Dmitrij Kalinovski, with Fox taking professional victory with a 39-37 points result.
Next, Dan Blackwell and Andrejs Loginovs fought over four threes, with Lovinovs taking the verdict 40-38.
The night's main event saw Nick Blackwell retain his English Middleweight title with a a fourth round stoppage against Leicester's Martin Conception.

Next up was Daza Usher against Jason Nesbit over four threes, with Usher taking 39 - 37 points victory.
The next contest of the evening was between Mike Biggs and Dan Carr over four threes, with the win going to Biggs 40 - 36.
The evening's fifth bout saw local boxer Laurence Bennet making his professional debut against Phil Goodwin, with Bennet taking a 60 - 55 points victory.
Next up Chris Higgs fought Aaron Fox over four threes, with Higgs taking the points verdict 40 - 36.
The main event saw Kalvin Young square of against Bristol's Martin Robbins for the vacant Southern Area Super-middleweight title. Young took the win and the belt with a 97 - 95 points verdict awarded by ref Grant Wallis.

6th Battalion Royal Navy Ordance Corps v 2nd Battalion King,s Royal Rifle Corps Boxing Programme 1954
This was held on Friday, 30th April 1954 at the Military Boxing Centre Aldershot.All eleven bouts were three , two minute rounds with the point scoring as follows-win 2 points , loser 1 point , and disqualification no points. Boxers featured included L/cpl J.Cole against Rfn A. Martin ,Pte G. Dormer against Rfn B.Sanders and Pte B. Harrington against Rfn R. Channing.
