Fitzroy Lodge A.B.C. Grand Amateur Boxing Tournament 1968

This was held at Manor Farm Baths on Monday 21st October 1968.That night there were twenty-one contests the last one was a Junior Contest over three two minute rounds between Neville Cole and Steve Hanbury can anyone help me find out more about the show or the other boxers on the bill if so please leave a comment thanks.

  1. My uncle was nevill cole he won 3 ABAs and was in the 1972 Olympics he also boxed for crystal palace with my dad and charlie magri, my other uncle aemon (nevills brother) also won a few ABAs boxing for ireland

    1. my dad is steve hanbury he told me him and nevill did not fight in the end something to do with weight can remember too much was long time ago he said
